What is Polymarket?#
Polymarket is the world's largest decentralized prediction market, built on the Polygon blockchain. Users trade "shares" on the outcomes of real-world events — elections, sporting events, geopolitical developments, economic indicators. Prices represent the crowd's estimated probability of the outcome. At resolution, YES shares on a correct outcome pay out at $1.00; incorrect shares pay $0.00. Polymarket is not available to users in the United States under CFTC regulations. The Black Ledger is not available to US users and does not facilitate access for US users.
Is this insider trading?#
No. The Black Ledger analyzes publicly available on-chain data from the Polygon blockchain. Every Polymarket trade is public. We aggregate, filter, and surface patterns. Following publicly visible trading activity is not insider trading under any legal definition we're aware of.
Is this legal?#
The Black Ledger is an information product. We don't execute trades, custody funds, or provide financial advice. Subscribers are responsible for their own trading decisions. We operate from Canada and provide a software-as-a-service tool, not a regulated financial service.
Does this work for US residents?#
Polymarket is not available to US residents under CFTC restrictions. The Black Ledger is not designed for US users and we cannot help anyone circumvent Polymarket's geo-restrictions. This service is intended for traders in jurisdictions where prediction market access is legal.
How do you verify the wallet list?#
Every wallet on our watchlist is documented with publicly verifiable on-chain history. You can independently verify P&L, trade history, and wallet age using Polymarket's public profile pages and Polygonscan. We show our work.
What happens if the pattern stops working?#
We continuously monitor wallet performance and update the watchlist as insider activity shifts. If a wallet goes cold or rotates, we remove it and add new validated wallets. The watchlist evolves.
How fast are Pro alerts?#
Pro alerts fire within 60 seconds of a tracked wallet placing a trade. Free tier is delayed 15 minutes. Telegram delivery is near-instant once our system detects the trade.
Can I cancel anytime?#
Yes. Pro subscriptions are monthly, billed via Stripe. One-click cancellation. Pro-rated refunds available within 14 days of purchase per our refund policy.
Do you give financial advice?#
No. The Black Ledger provides information about on-chain trading activity. What you do with that information is entirely your decision. Prediction markets involve risk including total loss of capital. Past performance does not predict future results.
Is this custodial?#
No. The Black Ledger never touches your funds, wallets, or private keys. You continue trading directly on Polymarket with your own wallet. We provide alerts only.
Who built this?#
A solo developer and active Polymarket trader (top 0.5% by profitability). The Black Ledger was built to solve the signal-vs-noise problem in existing whale trackers. The same infrastructure powers my own trading.
